Little balls of fur

Happy New Year, people! I hope 2013 is everything you want it to be, and more :) 

I couldn't have asked for anything cuter for my first post this year! Last week, we'd found a birds' nest  (that's what we thought!) inside an abandoned shopping bag in our balcony. Until one morning, a TINY squirrel fell out of the bag! It was a squirrel nest! And then another one crawled out. They refused to go back in, so we put them between some thick towels to help them get warm (baby squirrels need warmth) and then back into the nest. We waited for a couple of days to see if the mother showed up. It didn't, so we called Blue Cross to ask them what to do. They asked us to bring them over immediately because baby squirrels can't survive without proper care. We were very sad to part with them, but glad they are in safe hands :)

    my sis and i brought up two baby squirrels we named them ginger and chestnut and they were very naughty and lived in our house in madras!
