My friend Sharanya made me some adorable crochet flowers, including the one I am wearing in the left image. She is very passionate about DIY, and has taught me a bit of crochet too. Inspired by her, I followed this tutorial and made the lace bow that I'm wearing in the picture on the right.

I wanted to write a travel post with "real" photos and not instagram again, but I make stuff with my own hands so rarely, I couldn't resist popping in to share it :) It was so much fun to do - I made tons of bows in plain fabric as well :)

  1. my grandmother tried to teach me to crochet, my stumpy fingers didn't co-operate. but, i think the daughter and i will enjoy the lace bows to bits :)

    1. Thanks so much Shilpa! I hope you and your daughter have fun making these bows :) My sister and I plan to make a few more colours tonight :) Oh yes, the other garden colors are sitting in my drafts - I need to clean them up a bit and publish :)
