What do I do with my bottles?

I have a thing for glass bottles.
I never ever throw away bottles that once contained
flavored milk, alcohol, oil, pickles, jam...
I've accumulated way too many,
and I was wondering what on earth to do with them.
I asked friends, I obsessively looked for ideas on Pinterest - but everything was either too complicated or too tacky. And then this morning, I decided to just paint them with glass colours and put them among the small plants in our balcony. I'm spectacularly unskilled with my hands, so I'm pretty pleased that I started something and finished it :)

And here's how they look among the plants. They will probably look way better in the evening, especially if I put some serial lights in them.

  8. Came after seeing Shilpa's link to your page. They look lovely Madhu...so pretty. I'm obsessive about washing out and keeping all old bottles and jars too, but recently had to cull my collection since there was no space to keep food!

It's been ages Madhu, hope you're doing well. Miss seeing your photos and all the chai/coffee discussions.
