This was me being all touristy in Ooty last year. I got to dress up like a tea-picker, wear the basket and headgear, and have my picture taken. And then I shot a picture of the picture :)
Aaaand with this, the photo-a-day challenge is over :( I really really had fun doing this - it got me into the habit of keeping my camera reasonably charged and within reach at all times. I found myself shooting a lot more than I did in the last few months, and that, has been my biggest gain from doing this. If you find yourself in a photography rut, or if you just don't seem to have the enthusiasm to shoot anymore, I totally recommend doing something like this.
Fat mum slim, the blogger who came up with this challenge, has already put up a similar one for February, please do check it out. She also suggests this easier project for people who don't want to take on a month-long project. I think I'm going to try it later in February.
