Much as I love DIY, I am not very skilled with my hands. So I am totally in awe of people like Sharanya who seem to do magic with their fingers!
I realized that although it's been 6 months since we moved to this house, which is actually my first home after I moved out of home, there isn't even one thing that I have made from start to finish. I spend a lot of time decorating, but I haven't MADE anything. Ok, there have been a few little things like the zoozoo I spray-painted in gold or the string of lights I put into a blue vase to make a lamp...but nothing from scratch.
I am notorious for starting projects and never finishing them. Like this Madhubani painting I attempted many months ago, but abandoned because I lost patience after a while:
